| Title |
| 3 Dev Adam (1973) [Country: Turkey] Captain America and Santo team up to fight evil Spiderman! Don't look at me like that... |
| A Trip To Tomorrow (1983) [Short] From Likely Stories, Vol. 3 (1983) One of three David Wechter parodies of early 50's ephemeral films. |
| The
American Astronaut (2001) What to say...
This is one of those movies we consider really good, but the general
public would consider to be really bad. Destined to become a cult
sleeper. Well, someday. |
AMV
Hell 3: The Motion
Picture AMV="Anime Music Videos". Warning; highly addictive. |
| Are You Popular? (1947) [Short] |
| Barn of the Blood Llama (1997) I had not planned to run BOTBL this year, but to my surprise we had people who'd seen it last year request it. Check out this bizarre true llama story from BIT 2004! |
| Blobermouth (1990) Dub-job of The Blob (1958) |
| Cat Women
of the Moon
(1953) |
| Catholic High School Girls In Trouble trailer is a clip from The Kentucky Fried Movie (1977) |
| Captain
Video, Master of the Stratosphere (1951) Episodes 1 & 2.
I recommend this serial if you are familiar with Robert Smigel's
"Ambiguously
Gay Duo". You have to get several episodes in before you start to
imagine the connections, but it's a fun trip. |
| Cleopatra Schwartz trailer is another clip from The Kentucky Fried Movie (1977) |
| Dating: Do's and Don'ts (1949) [Short] |
| The
Deathless Devil (1973) [Country: Turkey]
The DVD also has an excellent documentary on the heyday of Turkish
cinema. |
| Devil
Girls (1999) aka "Ed Wood's
Devil Girls" |
| Dinner
Party (1945)[Short] Watch this film on dinner
etiquette and you'll never again dare to eat a meal in the presence of
another human being. |
| Dirt Squirrel
(2005 ?) Another year,
another premier. |
| Dr. Caligari
(1989) |
| Duck and Cover (1951) [Short] |
| Forbidden
Zone (1980) |
For Y'ur
Height Only (1979) [Philippines]
He's a secret agent... He's licensed to kill... He's Filipino...
He's a midget. Need I say more? |
| Frankenstein Meets the Spacemonster (1965) |
| G.I. Joe PSA parodies [Short] |
| Gravity (1976) [Short] One of three David Wechter parodies of early 50's educational films. |
| Leave It to Roll-Oh (1940) [Short] |
| The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra (2001) |
| Message From Space (1978)
[Japan
"Uchu kara no messeji"] aka; "The Japanese Star Wars" |
| MST3k short: Century 21 Calling (1962) |
| My Milkman, Joe [Short] |
| No Such Thing As Gravity (1989) Apologies for ejecting the disc in play etc... was sampling the punch a bit too much. |
| Queen of Outer Space (1958) Our first Gabor! |
Rejected
(2000)
[Animated short] |
| Robot Monster (1953) Presented with live 3D effects! |
| School,
Girls and You (1983) [Short] From
"Likely
Stories, Vol. 2"
Another fine David
Wechter parody of early 50's educational films. |
| Scopitones [Musical shorts] "Scopitone films are the early 1960s precursers to today's music videos. Distributed on 16mm film with a magnetic mono soundtrack, they were made to be shown on a Scopitone jukebox at swanky cocktail lounges, first in France, then America." |
Shake Hands With Danger (1975) [Short; industrial
safety] Every industrial safety film should
have a theme
song. But they
generally don't, so this one really stands out. We have adopted it as
the Bad Idea Theater camp song. Also, you wouldn't think a safety film
that depicts fingers ground off and hands severed, would get such
laughs. But it does; go figure... |
| Ship of
Monsters (1960) [Mexico La
Nave de los Monstruos] Hot chicks from
outer
space invade Mexico, with a spaceship full of some of the most
embarrassingly goofy monsters ever filmed. Naturally one of the space
ladies falls for a singing cowboy. Any movie that ends up with a tin
robot and the jukebox he has fallen in love with, rocketing off into
outer space while singing a love duet is my kind of movie. Oh but now
I've gone and spoiled the ending. |
| Superman:
Eleventh Hour (1942) [Animated short] You'd
think Superman could wipe out a nation way faster than this... |
| Trailers of note: Black Belt Jones, Lightning Bolt, The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living and Became Mixed-Up Zombies, The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra, The Three Fantastic Supermen |
| Tobor the
Great (1954) The touching story of a
robot and the little boy he had a questionable relationship with. |
| Troops
(1998) If anybody out
there knows where to get a full quality video of this (as opposed to
a pixelly
download), please let us know! |
| "Turkish Star Wars" (1982) [Country: Turkey Dünyayi kurtaran adam] Simply astounding. |
| TV Carnage "Casual Fridays" [Compilation] |
| What's Up, Hideous Sun Demon? (1983)
aka
"Revenge
of the Sun Demon". Dub-job of The Hideous Sun Demon
(1959). |
| Wild, Wild
Planet (1965) [Italy I
Criminali della galassia] |
| Wizard
People, Dear Readers [Harry Potter comic
narration]
We thank Brad
Neely for creating this fine piece of work. Outstandingly funny. |
You Cannot Fart Around
With Love [Musical short]
